EFRJ Summer School 2015 (Lisbon, Portugal)

EFRJ AGM 2015 and seminar (Warsaw, Poland)

The EFRJ Annual General Meeting 2015 will take place in Warsaw (Poland) on 21 May. This event is linked with a one-day seminar on the use of RJ in cases of domestic violence (22 May). More info will be available soon!

ALTERNATIVE Conference (Leuven, Belgium)

First comparative report of RJ in cases of domestic violence
The first comparative report of the EU funded project "Restorative Justice in Cases of Domestic Violence, Best practice examples between increasing mutual understanding and awareness of specific protection needs" is now available online. The project is coordinated by the Verwey-Jonker Institute in the Netherlands and the EFRJ is one of the partners in this project.

European Day for Victims of Crime

On 22 February, the European day for victims of crime has been celebrated across Europe. A series of events took place in several EU Member States (click here). In this occasion, Member States have been reminded about their commitment for implementing the EU Victims Directive 2012 by November of this year. Read here the VSE's joint statement

VSE Annual Conference 2015 (Lisbon, Portugal)
The Victim Support Europe (VSE) annual conference will take place in Lisbon (Portugal) on 13-14 May 2015. The theme of the conference is "Victims of Crime in Europe: The future is now!". During this event, VSE conferences and the Portuguese association of victim support APAV will celebrate their 25th anniversary. More info can be found on the APAV website
Moment of inspiration 
In this article Ian Marder, the founder of the Community of Restorative Researchers, argues in favor of the establishment of a national organization in the UK which represents and is run collectively by volunteer restorative practitioners.
