May 7 - Juan Frietez's Health Undocumented film is turning heads
Meet Juan D. Freitez whose film Salud Sin Papeles: Health Undocumented screens at 9:00 p.m. tonight, May 14th, at the Cinetopia Film Festival. Health Undocumented delves into the heart and poignant stories of of the undocumented community as it illuminates their struggles of the marginalized undocumented community human services. Juan, a documented Venezuelan immigrant, takes Deb and David on his journey as he shows the film at festivals around the world. Listen here!
May 14 - Timber-framing, blacksmithing and bush-crafting - oh, my!

Hear about all of the DIY skills you didn’t even know you wanted to learn! Jason Gold is the director of the Michigan Folk School in Dixboro, which focuses on the renewal of traditional living skills, crafts and music. WEMU’s David Fair and The Arts Alliance CEO Deb Polich dig deep into this eclectic school on creative:impact. Listen here.

Entitling every student in Washtenaw County with equitable access to high-quality, consistent, sequential, standards-based arts + creative education as part of an integral right to a well-rounded and excellent education is the goal of ACEISE.
