creative:impact

Tune in Tuesday mornings at 7:49 & 9:49 a.m.
on WEMU 89.1FM
Co-hosted by The Arts Alliance’s Deb Polich and WEMU’s Morning Edition host David Fair, creative:impact features creative people and industry experts who live, have creative practices and jobs, own creative businesses in Washtenaw County and lead the sector locally, nationally and internationally. They are the driving forces making Washtenaw County one of Michigan's strongest and most vibrant arts and creative industry hubs.
Jan. 15 - Bolcom & Morris: Achieving a Lifetime Filled with Music and Love!
Distinguished and talented, yes! Warm and charming, too! Joan Morris and William Bolcom were a joy to have in the creative:impact studio, reports Deb Polich. Listen here!

Celebrate their Lifetime Achievement Medal at THE pARTy!, Feb. 11, at Dessous. Support The Arts Alliance too.  Click here for ticket information.
Jan. 22 - Aaron P. Dworkin: A Maverick Causing Change and One-half of an Arts Power Couple
Aaron P. Dworkin is a force! Hear his story of how he turned his personal experience as a young Black violinist, acutely aware of the lack of diversity both on stage and in the audience in concert halls into a movement -- but not before engaging his life partner Afa S. Dworkin.  Aaron tells his story this week. We'll hear Afa's next week. Listen here!

Celebrate Aaron & Afa's Outstanding Service Medal at THE pARTy!, Feb. 11, at Dessous. Support The Arts Alliance too.  Click here for ticket information.
