The Arts Alliance is partnering with the BEST EVENT CALENDAR in Washtenaw County: the Ann Arbor Observer

Imagine posting your events ONCE online at Then having that post featured on Ann Arbor Observer online calendar AND shared with The Arts Alliance for its eNewsletter, web calendar page and social media sites. Members will be identified with The Arts Alliance button logo and those who are using a2tix will also include that button logo. The calendars are searchable by date, location and type of event. Plus, there will be crossover opportunities with the Ann Arbor Observer's print publication.

It's what you have told us you always wanted! The Arts Alliance and the Ann Arbor Observer are partnering up to make this a reality in early 2019.

MCACA Director Retires After 20 Years, Alison Watson to Become Next Director

The executive director of the Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs is retiring after 20 years with the government organization.

John Bracey is scheduled to leave the agency Dec. 28, according to the Michigan Economic Development Corporation. He will be replaced by Alison Watson, who has been the council's programs manager for seven years.
