Training Reminder

Fourth quarter training is currently being scheduled, but the following training sessions are available in the coming weeks.
Person Merge Training and Certification is scheduled for October 5, 2016, from 9:00-12:00 at the Public Works Building, 7823 Highway 135, Virginia, Minnesota.
SHIELD RMS Address Merge Training is scheduled for October 5, 2016, from 1:30-3:30 at the Public Works Building, 7823 Highway 135, Virginia, Minnesota. This is the first time this class has been offered.

Information about other classes will be available as soon as they are scheduled. If your agency has any specific training needs, please email Angie VanDeHey to get those sessions included in the fourth quarter training schedule.

JMS In-House Training

On occasion, the SHIELD RMS/JMS training database is unavailable due to last minute issues that require St. Louis County IT to disconnect or refresh the training database. When this happens, every attempt is made to contact the jails to verify whether or not in-house training has been scheduled to prevent interruptions to training. In an effort to streamline this and to ensure that you don't lose access to the training database or to any test scenarios you may have created, please send an email to training@nemesismn.org with the dates and times of your training sessions. You may also include training@nemesismn.org as an "invitee" to your training sessions if you create appointments in your calendaring software.

Also, the training database is scheduled to be refreshed every first Thursday of the month, usually around 5:00 PM. If there is ever a reason NOT to refresh the training database, please contact Angie VanDeHey or Stacy Andrews.

Web Shield Status Update

The project team met with CJS on August 17th to review the progress of the Web Shield project. New features showcased at this meeting were the ability to drag and drop files into the Media Window and a new Change Password button on the new User Profile Window. Progress was made on CAL search and CAL entry, as well as Media and Document Generation.

Two Web Shield presentations were scheduled in August. If you were unable to attend the presentations, or if you would like to view them again, click on this link. You will be prompted to enter a password. The password is webshieldaug16. Next, you'll be asked for your email address. Once your email address has been entered, a video of the presentation will be available to view or download. Please send any questions to Stacy Andrews or Angie VanDeHey.
