Web Shield Project Update

The in-squad version of Web Shield is now in test phase. The test group will offer feedback to the project team and any updates or changes will be made by equivant. As soon as the test phase is done, training will be scheduled.

TriTech CAD Project Update

The next event in the TriTech CAD Project is the DOLF (Demonstration of Licensed Functionality). This will take place during the week of July 10th. The agenda for this four day event is as follows:
  • Workflow will be validated,
  • Data previously submitted will be reviewed,
  • The CAD Administrator will become familiar with code file maintenance,
  • "Front end" CAD maintenance will be taught,
  • Configuration options will be discussed.

Test Refusal Statute

Effective July 1, 2017, the test refusal statute, 169A.20.2, will expire. It is being replaced with statutes 169A.20.2(1) and 169A.20.2(2). The text for these statutes is below:

It is a crime for any person to refuse to submit to a chemical test:

(1) of the person's breath under section 169A.51 (chemical tests for intoxication), or 169A.52 (test refusal or failure; revocation of license); or

(2) of the person's blood or urine as required by a search warrant under sections 626.04 to 626.18 and 171.177.

Angie VanDeHey

This month, the section usually devoted to a SHIELD tip or trick will be used to say thank you to the person who provided those tips and tricks. A huge thank you to Angie VanDeHey for her time and dedication to NEMESIS. Angie is moving on to a new adventure and her last day with NEMESIS is June 29th, 2017.
