On The Stage in Lowry

The John Hand Theater, bringing you the best of community theater right here in Lowry.

The John Hand Theater is tucked away near 1st and Quebec in the Colorado Free University building.  Like so much of Lowry, the theater is steeped in history - the main stage now presides where Air Force Base fire trucks once stood at the ready. Learn more about the John Hand Theater.

With nine shows a year, you are bound to find something that strikes your fancy.  Spotlight and Firehouse Theater Companies have a season of great performances planned:  take a look at the schedule of productions for the 2015 season!

Spotlight Theater Company is giving away a pair of tickets for Enchanted April's closing shows the weekend of March 20-21.  Enchanted April is
a romantic comedy about two frustrated London housewives who decide to rent a villa in Italy for a holiday away from their bleak marriages.  They recruit two very different English women to share the cost and the experience. There, among the wisteria blossoms and Mediterranean sunshine, all four women bloom again in ways that they, and we, would never expect. To enter to win the tickets, visit Lowry's Facebook page or buy tickets for one of six remaining shows.
