Your guide to Independence Day celebrations this weekend.

Please remember all fireworks are illegal in Denver.  To report illegal fireworks please call the police department's non-emergency number at 720-913-2000.

Friday, July 1st

Take a step back in time with Four Mile Park, celebrating with music, games and historic demonstrations. Enjoy food trucks and a beer garden and finish the evening with a perfect viewing spot for the Glendale Fireworks display after dark.

Glendale fireworks display starts at around 9pm and takes place around the 600 block of South Clermont Street in Creekside Park.

Sunday, July 3rd  

Catch Denver’s Independence Eve Celebration starting at 8 pm - music, light show, food, and fireworks including performances by Chris Daniels and the Kings and the National Guard 101st Army Concert Band from Buckley Air Force Base.  Early attendance is encouraged to get seating.

Stroll the Cherry Creek Arts Festival July 1st- 4th.

Monday, July 4th

Start Independence Day off with a dash at Wash Park.  Four mile Liberty Run and Kid's Firecracker Fun Run benefiting the Make A Wish Foundation. Registration starts at 7:30 am.

Stapleton’s Pancake Breakfast and Parade at Central Park's Fountain Pavilion.  Pancake breakfast starts at 9 am, parade at 10:30 am.

A very family friendly event in Englewood at Belleview Park and Cornerstone Park.  Enjoy Pirates Cove water park, Mini Train, Mini Golf, Batting Cages, Bouncy Castles, Children’s Farm and Novelty Food Vendor.  Festivities start at 10 am.

Join the 4th of July Parade in Park Hill.  Parade starts at 1:30.  Floats, marching bands, cartoon characters, classic cars and more!

Stroll the Cherry Creek Arts Festival July 1st- 4th.

Visit nearby Aurora for their Spectacular Celebration, 6-10P. Music, food, and one of our region's largest display of fireworks at the Aurora Municipal Center.  Event begins at 6 p.m., fireworks at 9:30 p.m.

Celebrate with the Colorado Rapids.  Soccer game at Dick's Sporting Goods Park followed by fireworks show at 9:30 pm.

Enjoy lacrosse with the Outlaws and fireworks at Sports Authority Field.

Splash and ride the day away at Elitch Gardens and then enjoy their fireworks show after dark.

After the 4th…

Continue the fun with Colorado Rockies on July 8th + 9th against the Phillies followed by fireworks shows.
