This is a free class sponsored by the Southern Connecticut Polymer Clay Guild and hosted by the North Kingstown library. Polymer clay work from our guild members will also be on display during December so stop by to check it out.
Bottles of Hope are small glass bottles covered with polymer clay and given to cancer patients as a symbol of health and good wishes. It was started by a RI cancer survivor originally using the bottles left over from her own cancer treatments.
The class will be about an hour to an hour and a half. Baking the bottles will take another 30-40 minutes afterwards, so if you want to take one to a friend or family member you can hang out at the library.
Please make as many bottles as you can. Cancer patients really appreciate them, and we never have enough.
