Jewel Plummer Cobb, Ph.D. 

Dr. Cobb was both a researcher and an educator who helped pave the way for minorities and women to enter STEM related fields and overcome discrimination they faced in academia. Her research focused on skin cells, melanomas, and chemotherapy drugs.
