Hep C Positive

We are delighted to wish Phil and the Hep C Positive Group in Swindon a very happy fourth birthday. The group celebrated with a meal and welcomed guest speaker, Professor Paul Klenerman.
Hep C Positive is arguably one of the most successfully run support groups in the country due to its inclusive ethos and open forum. If you would like any further information about Hep C Positive, please contact Phil Spalding via email:

Our postcards continue to be popular

We've seen a surge of interest in our postcards since our last update - thank you for supporting our work! We have even supplied a bespoke poster version of our cirrhosis design, which now has pride of place in a drug service in Sheffield.

The liver conditions next on our list to pictorially depict are for hepatitis A and hepatitis B. If you have any creative ideas that will spark conversation, please get in touch with Sarah, via email

Remember, our postcards are completely FREE and are designed to spark conversation while also inform (each one has facts about liver conditions on the back). If you would like to order yourself some free copies, please get in touch! Email us or call 0800 074 3494.

Are you affected by hepatitis B?

We are developing our At A Glance Guide for for hepatitis B and would like to speak to people who are affected. We would particularly like to know the information and support you received at diagnosis and how it could have been improved.

We are also planning our activities in relation to hepatitis B, as to how we can best support patients and their families in 2016. Please get in touch, we would love to hear from you:

Parliamentary campaign: #nooneleftbehind

At the end of October, L4L called for urgent action to improve the management of hepatitis C within the UK’s South Asian community. To support our call to action, a group of MPs, pledged to improve the diagnosis and management of hepatitis C infection among these patients. Read the report here
