Happy Summer Holidays!

A Message from the Director

As the 2015-2016 Academic Year comes to a close, we are already planning some exciting changes for the upcoming 2016-2017 Academic Year.  As you will see in the 2015-2016 Annual Report which will be provided to all parents on June 30, 2016, there is ample evidence that ASV continues to progress and to be an innovative leader in international education.  As with all successful entities, our success is only possible with all members of our school community collaborating in unison.

I hope you will join our dedicated staff of world-class educators, our Board of Governors, and the hundreds of committed community members in forging ahead with a new vision of ASV.  We are building an exciting future for our children and for successive generations of students yet to come.  Nothing should be more important to our school community at this critical time of accelerating change.

In closing, I wish all of you a relaxing, enjoyable and rejuvenating summer.  We look forward to welcoming you back to ASV on September 8, 2016 for the first day of the 2016-2017 Academic Year.  So, travel safe to wherever you call home and thank you for an amazing 2015-2016!

With best wishes,

Michael L. Smith

ASV Summer Program 2016

We are starting the ASV Summer Program 2016 on Monday, July 4, 2016. Welcome to all our Summer students coming from more than 100 different schools in the area, alongside with an important number of ASV students.
On behalf of all the preschool and elementary staff, thank you for your ongoing support of your child’s education. Schools function best when all stakeholders work together and your continued positive engagement will significantly influence the value of the educational experience provided at ASV. Have a safe and happy summer.

Dr. Adam J. Spina
Preschool and Elementary Principal
Today children and teachers in Preschool celebrated the end of the school year with a variety of activities. They had water games early morning and an afternoon snack with a special mention to all those children who have their birthday anytime during the Summer.
Grades 2 and 3 had the end of year trips to Alborache and Benicassim.

Congratulations to our 12th Grade students who earlier this month took the Selectividad exams.  We  are exceptionally pleased to announce that all of our students passed the exams necessary to enter the Spanish university system. Well done!

Excited with the High School Pilot Classroom

It is amazing to see the construction of the new High School pilot classroom. Just two weeks ago we could see the new wall with hexagonal windows and the smart board system. As the picture shows, the new furniture made up of mobile chairs is already here. Stay connected to the school website and the ASV social media to follow up the works planned in the 1st and 2nd grade area.
Students in grade 7 and 8 enjoyed a nice time in Calpe at the Pyrenees
