Diversity & Inclusion Charter Community Forum: Impact Assessment

The objective of this interactive community forum is to launch Phase 2 of the D&I Charter and to facilitate conversation on how it can impact individuals, organizations and communities.

UBC Faculty of Education is delivering a free 6 week Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) on Indigenous Education beginning January 27, 2015.
Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives' study reveals Brampton as the least affordable city in Canada for child care while Mississauga is close behind. Check out the full report here. 

The City of Mississauga is accepting applications for The Diversity and Inclusion Advisory Committee. Application deadline is January 23. Learn more about the committee here. 


Funding Opportunities

enAbling Change Program 2015-2016 Funding
Through the Accessibility Directorate of Ontario (ADO), the program provides financial support and expertise to organizations to educate an industry or sector across the province on their obligations under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA). Learn about it here.

Age-Friendly Community Planning Grant
This grant will support local governments and community organizations to undertake strategic planning with a focus on seniors. Learn about it here.

Ontario Sport & Recreation Communities Fund
OSRCF is a grant program that supports a vision of getting and keeping Ontarians active in community sport, recreation and physical activity. Learn about it here.
