Expressions:
A penny for your thoughts! （何を考えているの？）
黙って考え込んでいる人に対して使うフレーズです。「1ペニーをあげるから、何を考え込んでいるのか教えて」というのが元々の意味。
You can't judge a book by its cover. （外観だけでは人やものの中身を判断できない）
It takes two to tango. （「喧嘩両成敗（けんかりょうせいばい）」、「けんかは一方だけが悪いわけではない」、「責任は両方にある」）
叱られている状況で“It takes two to tango.”といえば「私だけが悪いわけじゃない」という相手への反論になる。
