13th Annual Forecast Event

The Atlanta Society of Finance and Investment Professionals (ASFIP) will host the 14th Annual Forecasting Event on January 17th at the Porsche Experience Center of Atlanta.  We are excited to announce that James W. Paulsen, Ph.D., Chief Investment Strategist for Wells Capital management, Inc., is our keynote speaker.  This flagship event, which attracts hundreds of investment professionals and regional financial leaders, will kick off an exciting calendar year of educational programming and networking opportunities.

Mediocre growth, low interest rates, volatile asset returns, and a surprise presidential election victory have all contributed to future uncertainty.  The forecasting event will leverage Jim’s perspective and outlook to assess national and global economic conditions and trends, financial markets, and potential investment themes.   This timely discussion will contrast future expectations with current fundamentals and market pricing.

For more than 30 years, Jim has published his own commentary which evaluates economic trends and is distributed to more than 25,000 individuals monthly.  In addition, Jim has been named Top Economic Forecaster by Business Week, twice named Interest Rate Forecaster of the Year by BondWeek, and is frequently quoted in Barron’s, Financial Times and The Wall Street Journal.

ASFIP looks forward to connecting with you at this premier event and appreciates your ongoing support of the society and the CFA designation.   A limited number of traditional sponsorship opportunities remain, some of which include the Porsche Driving Experience.  In 2017, we have included additional sponsorship options which provides greater commitment flexibility, but still allows organizations to build market presence and brand awareness within with ASFIP community.
