Meet the Panelists for the 2015 Forecast

On Wednesday night we will present an outstanding panel for the 2015 Forecasting Event.
 

Anthony Crescenzi, top, has written five books including "The Strategic Bond Investor" and "Beyond the Keynesian Endpoint." He regularly appears on CNBC and Bloomberg television and in financial news media. He is an Executive Vice President and Market Strategist with PIMCO. He is also a member of the Investment Committee.


Jonathan Golub is the Chief U.S. Market Strategist and Managing Director with RCB. He formerly served as a Managing Director and Chief U.S. Equity Strategist at UBS, where he was responsible for the firm's U.S. equity outlook, S&P 500 price target, earnings forecasts and sector recommendations. 

 

Steven M. Sears, bottom, is the author of the “The Indomitable Investor: Why a Few Succeed in the Stock Market When Everyone Else Fails.” A Senior Editor and Columnist with Barron's and Barrons.com, he has reported on most major modern financial events including the Asian Contagion, the bursting of the Internet Bubble, the Credit Crisis, and Europe's sovereign debt crisis.

 

Matt Toms, CFA, head of public fixed income at Voya Investment Management, will moderate the panel.

CFA Institute Challenges Top Students

Atlanta Society of Finance and Investment Professionals (ASFIP) will jointly host its 7th CFA Institute Research Challenge - Southern Classic with CFA Society South Carolina and CFA Society Alabama in Atlanta, Georgia.  ASFIP, a representative of CFA Institute, will hold the local level of this global competition on Feb. 21, 2015. During the local round, 20 teams of three to five students from the leading universities and business schools in Alabama, Georgia, and South Carolina will compete for a place in the regional final in Atlanta in April 2015, where they will meet other teams from the region. The successful team will then compete in the Global Final also in Atlanta on April 17, 2015. The Southern Classic is sponsored by RidgeWorth Investments. The subject company for this year is Axiall Corporation (NYSE: AXLL), a manufacturer and an international marketer of chlorovinyl and aromatic chemicals based in Atlanta.
