MENTORING PROGRAM: Volunteers Needed for New Initiative

We are proud to announce the launch of our Mentorship Program aimed at providing an opportunity for members who are relatively early in their careers to tap into the wisdom and perspective of more seasoned professionals as well as a means for senior people to get introduced to the next generation of professionals in our industry.

The mentorship term will last for one year during which it is expected that the mentor and protégé will meet face-to-face four to six times. Those wishing to become a protégé or mentor must be conscientious and willing to make a commitment to the program and to accept the challenges and responsibilities that accompany the opportunity. To be eligible for the program mentors must be members of the Atlanta Society of Finance and Investment Professionals, have 10 or more years of finance experience, and currently be serving in a senior role at their firm or recently retired. Protégés must also be members in good standing of the Atlanta Society of Finance and Investment Professionals, currently employed in the finance community with at least two (2) years of qualified work experience, cannot be full-time students and must agree to not ask the mentor for a job at any time.
