Door Decorating Contest and Halloween Break


The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine hosted a Halloween Break to enjoy some sweets and treats together on Monday, October 31. Staff and students got into the Halloween spirit and wore their costumes. At the party, the door decorating contest winner was announced. The winner was the Evil Clown door created by Linda, Liz and Kathilyn, who received a pot of candy to share. Honourable mentions go to the main office for Smaug the Dragon, and the Cameron lab for the Ghostly door. 

WPA Halloween Candygrams

Western Pathology Association (WPA) held another Halloween Candygram sale this year. Deliveries were made on October 31st by Princess Leia and Batman at Western/LHSC and Spongebob and their feline friends at Victoria Hospital.  Read more

The Dean's Gala

Taking place as the finale to the Reunion Weekend activities, the Dean’s Gala was held on Saturday, October 1 at the London Convention Centre. Several members of the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine attended this annual black-tie event.  Read more

The Canadian Association of Neuropathologists 56th annual conference

The Canadian Association of Neuropathologists 56th Annual Meeting was hosted by the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry, in Niagara-on-the-Lake from 28 September to 1 October 2016.  Read more
