The Center for Earth and Environmental Science has undergone significant alterations over the past year-and-a-half, including changes in leadership and key staff positions. Publication of the newsletter has been on hiatus during this transition period. Now that the wheels of operation are once again spinning (more or less) smoothly, the newsletter is back, and the Center is ready to introduce the new members of team CEES. Read more here.
A Year in Review: Education & Outreach Highlights
CEES staff and a cadre of undergraduate education assistants have been out and about, bringing environmental education to all and sundry at a events such as Bug Fest, STEM at the Speedway, and Celebrate Science Indiana! Read more here.
CEES Receives $400,000 Grant from Duke Energy

A partnership with the Duke Energy Foundation has permitted CEES to build a new mobile lab and expand programing. Read more here. 

Calendar of Community Events
Celebrate Science Indiana! 2017 Event
Saturday, October 7, from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM
Celebrate Science Indiana 2017 will be at the Blue Ribbon Pavilion at the Indiana State Fair Grounds. The event is free and open to the public. Several IUPUI departments will participate in the festival, including anthropology, biology, chemistry and chemical biology, and earth sciences. CEES will be present, too! Learn more about Celebrate Science here.
The White River Festival runs from September 9-27.
