Dear <<First Name>>,

This month brings a lot of exciting news relevant to solar fuels!

As we move into 2017, we at SOFI wanted to take a look back at 2016. Last year was productive for us at SOFI; we launched the data entry portal to the Knowledge Map, began building the Demonstration Project, and hosted our first summer workshop. For a more detailed recap, check out our blog piece highlighting what SOFI was up to in 2016

We are thrilled to be able to announce that the end of 2016 also saw a major milestone for the SOFI Demonstration Project. In November, the CO2 reactor successfully produced methanol from a commercially available catalyst. While the details are still being double and triple checked, we are happy to point you to a brief blog post on completing Phase 1 of the Demonstration Project.

We have a lot planned for 2017 and look forward to updating you on a quarterly basis. If you'd like more frequent updates from SOFI, connect with us on Facebook and Twitter, or just send an email - we enjoy hearing from you.
