Dear <<First Name>>,

If there's one thing we at SOFI are grateful for, it's our terrific members. Without this network, SOFI would be little more than a dream. This month we want to highlight a few of our members that keep us inspired and motivated to continue working toward commercializing a solar fuel.

We want to thank Rutgers and Argonne National Lab for recently renewing their membership. They've been critical partners in research and collaboration, and we urge you to spend some time on their websites to learn about the amazing work they're doing.

If you know anything about SOFI, then you probably know how important Uppsala University is to us. We couldn't do the work we do without them as a core member. You might remember that we supported the First International Solar Fuels Conference at Uppsala. It was a huge success in no small part because of their hard work.

Lastly, we'd like to welcome new member, Michigan State University! Spartan scientist Jim McCusker has been a great friend to SOFI (check out his VideoLab here), and we're thrilled to have MSU on board as an official member.

Please check out all our other incredible members here, and get in touch if you're interested in membership!

Lastly, we want to make sure you know about the Carbon X-Prize, which was just announced. They're offering $20 million to find clean ways to utilize carbon waste. We're so excited about this opportunity and will be keeping you up to date as it develops.
