Dear <<First Name>>,

Did you catch SOFI’s Synergy piece in Chem? We co-authored this perspective to articulate our latest thoughts on commercializing solar fuels technologies. We welcome your feedback and input, and we firmly believe that commercializing component solar fuel technologies is possible today.

And, it seems the World Economic Forum (WEF) and Scientific American (SA) agree. This August the WEF and SA released their list of “Top 10 Emerging Technologies in 2017” and “Fuels from Sunlight” came in at number 4! While there are many roles for a solar fuel to play in the energy arena, the beneficial impact on other aspects of life would be equally revolutionary. Check out our blog piece for more of our thoughts on this exciting recognition from the WEF.

In July, Nordic Blue Crude announced their plans to build the first ever commercial facility dedicated to producing the carbon neutral Blue Crude! This is an exciting next step for the Blue Crude process we talked about in 2015. To learn more, check out our blog post!

Cheers,

The SOFI Team
