We thought it wise to converse with all our customers, past and present, regarding the current COVID-19 situation and the impact on our business.
So far, it's BUSINESS AS USUAL, with our Shop, Warehouse, and 1800 Hose Van services operating at full capacity, with minimal impact on our ability to source and supply product.
However, we are continuing to follow Government advice and will remain open unless otherwise advised.
We acknowledge that our business is fortunate to remain open at this time, whilst many other business types have been forced to close, having a huge impact within our local community, family, friends, and life as we've become accustomed to.
Whilst we continue to trade, we are taking the situation very seriously. You can be assured our top priority is the health and safety of our employees & customers, and so, we will continue to review our protocols and hygiene controls in addition to following Government directives and industry guidelines.
Our storefront is open for business, although you will notice some changes to meet the 'social distancing' guidelines, along with the provision of sanitiser's, wipes, and gloves for all customers and visitors.
Our staff have all been briefed and understand the requirements for maintaining shop and personal hygiene, so you may see them wiping the counter, benches, displays, office equipment, inventory etc, with disinfectant, whilst regularly washing their hands with soap before and after breaks, and using hand sanitisers in between.
We also need to be mindful of the number of people in the shop area at any one time, so you may be asked to wait outside briefly during peak times, and adhere to the social distancing rules and stand slightly back from the counter as marked on the shop floor.
Apart from shopping 'in-store', you are welcome to call or email your enquiries and orders to our sales team, or even make use of the 'chat' feature on our website.
We are also happy to deliver to your door, and arrange 'safe' pick-up protocols as you may require.
Of course, we will keep you updated with any major changes to the above, but in the meantime, we hope everyone stay's safe, keeps their distance, and looks after one another during this difficult period.
Any concerns do not hesitate to contact me directly at any time.
