Dear Friends of PSE,
A lot has happened these past few months, and we have exciting updates we'd like to share with you! Here's the long and short of it:
- We sent $25,500 to PSE in Cambodia - including $6,700 raised during the Phnom Penh Express this summer!
- 9th-grade and 12th-grade students resumed in-person learning on September 22nd!
- Leakhena Des Pallieres was appointed Managing Director of PSE in August.
- "Sand Flower," a short movie by PSE students, was presented at the Cambodia Town Film Festival (CTFF) in Long Beach, CA.
- PSE will celebrate its 25th anniversary on December 6th in Paris. You can stream the event online here.
While 9th-grade and 12th-grade students have resumed in-person learning, other students will be remote until January 2022. Starting this month and through the end of December, PSE will be working on getting every child up to speed and ready for the Spring semester.
This year, American Friends of PSE is participating in #GivingTuesday21, a global generosity movement taking place on Tuesday, November 30th. Giving Tuesday is a day dedicated to uplifting communities, empowering nonprofits, and celebrating kindness. During this special time, many businesses join the movement and provide their employees with opportunities to give. Let us know if your company has a Giving Tuesday program that you would like us to join!

With deep gratitude,
