Dear Friends of PSE,
Eight years ago, PSE (Pour un Sourire d'Enfant / For a Child's Smile) was launched in the United States of America.
Today, we are extremely proud to announce that the US branch of PSE has just been approved as a standalone nonprofit organization - status 501(c)(3), and renamed as American Friends of PSE.
These changes, effective since April 2, 2021, will allow our supporters to make tax-deductible donations directly to American Friends of PSE (tax ID 45-4554563). This will also help signify that our organization is fully based in the United States.
In line with these new changes, we have also adapted the PSE nonprofit’s identity. We invite you to take a look at our new logo and new website at https://americanfriendsofpse.org/. Our emails will also change to reflect the new domain @AmericanFriendsofPSE.org
Since our launch in 2013, we have grown our recurring donor pool to a total of 21 today. Your support has allowed us to raise almost $200,000 and has also helped us focus on and contribute to several key projects at PSE, including Boarding School and School of Media programs as well as the New Classrooms project.
As you well know, Give2Asia has been our fiscal sponsor in the past. Their organization and dedicated professional team have supported PSE in a way that has allowed us to take off independently in 2021, and we are very thankful for that! Give2Asia will stop all recurring donations to PSE on April 30, 2021. All funds remaining in our account will be transferred to PSE by August 31st (the end of theirs fiscal year).
From now on, you will be able to donate directly to American Friends of PSE, via our website https://americanfriendsofpse.org/ (red donate button) where you can set up a recurring donation if you chose to do so.
We thank you for your ongoing support and we look forward to pursuing our relationship with you under our new status and name. Please join us in wishing a long life to the American Friends of PSE!

With deep gratitude,
