Launch of the new Pocket Guide to NDCs
6 October at 12 PM CET

UNEP DTU Partnership and the European Capacity Building Initiative (ecbi) recently produced a new Pocket Guide to NDCs. The Guide explains the provisions of the Paris Agreement adopted in 2015, and of the Katowice rulebook adopted in 2018.

In this upcoming webinar we will launch the Guide and discuss experiences in updating and revision of the Nationally Determined Contributions.

Reporting adaptation through the Biennial Transparency Report 
7 October at 3 PM CET

In this webinar, we will discuss what national reporting of adaptation will look like in the biennial transparency report (BTR) and how the introduction of this new UNFCCC report will change how countries report on adaptation going forwards.

Specifically, we will discuss how the BTR fits into the UNFCCC’s landscape of planning and reporting instruments, what its role in this landscape is, and what information related to adaptation countries are expected to include in their BTR reports.

Finance Guide for Implementation of Technology Action Plans 
Reaching the envisaged scale of climate technology implementation implies a drastic scale-up and implementation of policies and measures, as well as a rapid mobilization of domestic and international financial resources, which should be efficiently and sustainably invested.

This guidebook provides information on how to develop a business case for interventions that are inclusive of climate change mitigation and adaptation technologies, and how to present this information in structured proposals to donors and financiers.

Nordic Capacity-Building Support to LDCs and SIDS for the Implementation of the Transparency Framework of the Paris Agreement
With the Nordic Declaration on Carbon Neutrality from 2019, the Nordic Prime Ministers agreed to intensify the focus on climate change in development cooperation.

Thus, the Nordic Climate and Air Pollution group (NKL) has initiated this project to facilitate Nordic initiatives to support the implementation of the Enhanced Transparency Framework in developing countries.
