Indiana Hemp Industries Association (INHIA) is a 501(c)(6) non-profit trade group and state chapter affiliate of the Hemp Industries Association. Our mission is to promote the research and development of industrial hemp products and foster industry development within the state of Indiana.

Hoosier Hemp News

The 23rd Annual Hemp Industries Association Conference was held in Denver, Colorado this year.  INHIA Founder/President, Jamie Campbell Petty, attended the conference, which included hemp facility visits, an evening of networking and two days of presentations, panel regarding the hemp industry.  Discussions included current legislation and research, hemp processing, CBD, supply chain development and genetics.

A highlight of the conference was listening to Indiana's own, Gregg Baumbaugh, of FlexForm technologies, discuss their use of natural fibers for auto components, and the possibilities for hemp as a key component to FlexForm's future.

With gratitude, Indiana Hemp Industries Association accepted a Green Light Award from SustainableIndiana 2016, and was inducted into the Green Light Legacy Hall of Fame for our work to improve Hoosier's environment and economy. This team has worked so hard for almost 3 years. It has taken each of us to get to where we are today, and to keep things moving

We were selected as one of 200+ groups and individuals across Indiana whose efforts promote a sustainable future, and are being recognized with this award. We are beyond proud and elated to have received such an honor.

Sustainable Indiana 2016 has been working for ten years to identify and celebrate those who are taking steps to make the world a more livable place for our children’s children. Again, thank you for your work to make Indiana a better place to live for us and for future generations.
INHIA joined Dugger Family Farm, a small Farm in Morristown, established to support and provide experiential opportunities for appropriate treatment of animals, as well as caring for the environment, while, supporting all things local.  The Dugger's have a deep passion for the local food scene, #farmtofork as we now know it.  INHIA team members, Jessica Marty and Jamie, represented hemp within Indiana by displaying and discussing products from Real Hemp, Foods Alive, Hemp Natural Soap, UltraOil, Red Bark Farms and others.  INHIA also participated in the Indy Food Swapper's Food Swap that was part of the event, giving many participants an opportunity to taste hemp-infused cookies, biscotti and granola!

INHIA Meet-Ups

Watch our calendar for frequent INHIA Meet-Ups. We are going to start a monthly "hang out" session with no specific agenda, rather to gather for drinks and talk. Of course, business can be discussed, but it is also an opportunity to gather, stay current, and welcome new members, team members, etc.  We will rotate between the northside and southside of Indianapolis.

The next meetup will be on November 9th at Bourbon Street Distillery starting at 6pm.
