As you know, the digital world is in constant change, for IT PEERS to keep up with all new technological trends and offer you a differentiate service, we are preparing to launch a new service range this month.

The new IT PEERS service offering is divided into 5 major areas: Infrastructure, Performance, Security, Cloud Solutions and Services. The Infrastructures area remains as a strategy of continuity, and here the company will continue to offer solutions that meet the recurring needs of customers regarding systems, databases, networks and public and private cloud. Likewise, the offer of services linked to Performance, an area that is closely linked to the genesis of the company, will continue to be a clear bet. The main novelty is at Security level, where we will offer security auditing services for information systems and others related to the growing need of protecting business data. Regarding Solutions, the big highlights go to two concepts in vogue: Internet of Things and Big Data, as well as software development and modernization projects. These will be the major areas of focus for IT PEERS throughout 2017. Finally, with regard to Cloud Services, two services are fully under development in this concept: BAAS (Backup as a Service) and RAAS (Recovery as a Service), which complement each other for a total offer of safeguarding and recovering information for companies, without any need for hardware investment. These solutions, entirely designed by IT PEERS and provided in partnership with international cloud providers, are the result of IT PEERS innovation combined with years of similar service experience for the largest companies on the market.

2017 promises to be a challenging year for IT PEERS. Our philosophy is based entirely on innovation and differentiation, which is why we are always following what the market needs, offering you the best solutions at the best price. Stay tuned: soon there will be more news!

IT PEERS launches Multipeers4Fleets
On March 1st, the new Multipeers4Fleets was officially launched. Multipeers4Fleets comes as a response to a problem reported by companies that operates in the transport sector. Managers in this area often complain about the lack of management information as well as the lack of direct visibility for all decision-makers. It’s necessary to obtain information on various systems and this spents a lot of time and can harm future decisions.

Multipeers4Fleets allows to continuously measure and analyze all events of the fleet management business, so that the user can take the best for the future. Through simple and intuitive dashboards, it’s possible to analyze the costs of each area, to find the factors that contribute to a fuel increase, to set alerts whenever something important happens, among many other features.

The product was tested and developed on two reference customers in Portugal and it’s ready to be marketed. IT PEERS makes the product available for free for 30 days. If you want to try the product, please contact us!

IT PEERS presents new International Business Consultant
Jorge-Alberto Yarte-Sada is vice president of the Luso-Mexican Chamber of Commerce and Industry and CEO of UBIQUM TRANS-HORIZON ADVISORS & INVESTMENTS LTD and recently joined the IT PEERS team as International Senior Business Advisor. In line with what has happened in recent years, IT Peers has taken on this strong bet in its Internationalization project. Jorge-Alberto Yarte-Sada will play a crucial role in IT PEERS business diplomacy and international relations, but it will be in the Mexican market that initially he will focus his action. Mexico is one of the priority markets for IT PEERS and where the company already has a strong presence through some partners in the technology area.

"We have known the work of Jorge-Alberto Yarte-Sada for some years and it was very easy to invite him to participate in our global project and bring it to our work team. For us, Yarte-Sada will be the fundamental "piece" that we lacked to solidify our operation in the Mexican market due, basically, to the deep knowledge that he has about the way of operation of the business area in Mexico ", refers Jorge Santos Silva, Latin America Business Director.

For Yarte-Sada, working with the IT PEERS team is "a real honor". Yarte-Sada adds that through its solid operational and business experience and the privileged network of personal and professional contacts in the Americas (namely in Mexico) "UBIQUM TRANS-HORIZON ADVISORS & INVESTMENTS LTD. will present ITPEERS and its products and services in different sectors and segments of the Mexican business in the short term".

The strategic partnership between IT PEERS and UBIQUM is a continuation of IT PEERS 'commitment to the Mexican market, as a result of the internationalization of IT PEERS in Mexico through the PORTUGAL CONNECT project of the Luso-Mexican Chamber of Commerce and Industry in 2014-2015. Yarte-Sada is Executive Advisor of Business Development in this project that facilitates the entry of participating Portuguese companies into Mexico.

9 Technology trends for 2017
Mobility, intelligence, speed and efficiency are characteristics that we associate with today's technology world. Change and innovation in this area happen at a very fast pace, constantly creating new models and business opportunities. According to Deloitte's "Technology, Media & Telecommunications Predictions" study, 9 technological trends will be in vogue this year.

Digital navigation: it’s predicted that in the year 2022 it will be possible to locate people and objects within a space. A quarter of all human or computerized uses of digital navigation should occur within doors.

Biometric security: Devices with fingerprint readers should reach 1 billion during this year. Each sensor is expected to be used, on average, 30 times a day.

Less demand for tablets: it’s expected that in 2017 the sales of tablets will fall below 165 million units, that is, 10% less than the value of 2016. This forecast could mean that the tablets begin to enter a phase of decline.

5G Network: The new generation of mobile network will be widely disseminated by telecommunications operators, who will show the advantages of this technology: greater speed, capacity for Internet sensors of Things and lower hiding and lower energy consumption.

Computer attacks by hackers: There are more and more devices connected to the network, which increases the probability of computer attacks. It’s estimated that in the coming months, computer attacks will happen in greater number and that the difficulty of eliminating them will increase.

Automatic learning: this year more than 300 million smartphones are expected to have automatic learning capabilities. However, this technology will no longer be exclusive of mobile phones and will also integrate tablets, automobiles, drones, and instruments equipped with the Internet of Things.

TV advertising: Deloitte predicts that television advertising will remain at the same level as it was in the previous years, continuing to generate revenue, which goes against the theory that advertising on television is a dead area.

Interest in vinyl: Vinyl has returned to the daily lives of many consumers and sales in this market are expected to reach very high values and should be 6% of the overall value of revenues in the music industry. However, Deloitte warns that the big profit generator in this industry will continue to be digital.

Automatic braking systems: Fortunately, it’s expected that there will be less road accidents in 2017 because automatic braking systems will be introduced, which will contribute greatly to improved road safety.
