Back to Basics: Successful Bid Writing - Save the Date!

Date: 5 July 2018
Venue: tbc, Newcastle

The second of our Back to Basics sessions will look at the fundamentals of writing a successful funding bid.  

The session will be led by Debbie Read, a cultural management consultant, specialising in business strategy, fundraising and governance.  Debbie has delivered consultancy projects for arts organisations and museums from the small to large scale, across the UK.

Small Grants Scheme 2018/19

This year we are assessing applications at three points through the year.  The first deadline has now passed and the next assessment deadline is 1 September 2018.

In 2018/19 we are offering grants of up to £1500 without match funding and larger grants of between £1500 and £3000 are available with a minimum of 10% match funding (cash or in kind).

The Volunteer Organisations’ Network (VON) is a forum for volunteer-run museums that meets three times a year. The Network provides the opportunity for volunteer-run museums to exchange knowledge, receive training and keep up to date with sector developments.
