This is the 20th and Final Week of Our Lightchasers Painting Challenge. The Paintings chosen as Best of the preceding 20 weeks, will be judged in the Final Challenge, to take place after this week's Best Painting is chosen. Five prizes will be awarded and announced in the following week's email.
Many Thanks to all who have made this Painting Challenge possible. The Artists who have shared their time and talent and the Board of Directors who have judged the entries every week.
Also special thanks to Susan Sapanara for beautifully putting together all the pieces of this weekly email puzzle & Patti Clark for her Sponsor Ads and various write-ups.
Both have contributed many valued suggestions and creative ideas to our weekly emails.
Due to popular requests from the emails we receive every week from our members and viewing audience, we will be starting a New Lightchasers Painting Challenge immediately
following the ending of this Challenge. The New Challenge will continue until we resume our weekly Thursday paintouts or until another 20 week period has ended.
Last week's email contained an error in labeling of paintings. The correction is given below:

THE PAINTING CHOSEN AS BEST PAINTING OF THE 19TH WEEK OF THE LIGHTCHASERS PAINTING CHALLENGE IS:

CONGRATULATIONS TO DOUG FOR HIS DEPICTION OF A VERY FAMILIAR SCENE AT ANY ART SHOW OR MUSEUM. THE SOFT COLORS OF THE FRAMED PAINTINGS AND WALLS BECOME A BACKGROUND FOR THE MAN IN THE BRIGHTLY COLORED SHIRT. THE MAN, IN TURN, BECOMES A FRAMED WORK OF ART BY HIS PERFECTLY BALANCED POSITION IN FRONT OF THE FRAMED PAINTING ON THE BACK WALL. I HAVE HEARD IT SAID THAT ONLY AN ARTIST WOULD LOOK THAT CLOSELY AT A PAINTING BECAUSE THEY ARE CHECKING OUT BRUSHSTROKES AND COLOR HARMONIES!
