Greetings Artists

The 8th week of our Light Chasers Spirit of Painting contest is about to begin.
The artists who submitted work last week, to the challenge of painting water, are to be commended, not only for rising to the challenge set to them, but also for creating such high quality artwork. You made the voting for best painting very difficult indeed!

THE PAINTING CHOSEN AS BEST PAINTING FOR THE 7TH WEEK OF THE LIGHT CHASERS SPIRIT OF PAINTING CONTEST IS:

"BEACH WISHES"
BY LESLIE BERTRAM
ACRYLIC
16" X 20"

CONGRATULATIONS TO LESLIE FOR CREATING A VERY CALMING SENSE OF PLACE WITH THIS BEACH SCENE, THAT WE ALL WISH WE COULD ENJOY RIGHT NOW!
THE SUN IS CASTING LONG, COOL SHADOWS ACROSS THE BEACH, AND ALSO HIGHLIGHTING THE BEACH CHAIRS AND THE SHELLS AND SAND.
THE RIPPLING BLUE GREEN WATER IS GENTLY TOUCHING THE SHORE AND DARKINING THE SAND WHERE IT FLOWS OVER IT.
IT IS VERY EASY TO IMAGINE YOURSELF RELAXING IN ONE OF THE ADIRONDACK CHAIRS, WITH YOUR TOES IN THE SAND AND FEELING A SEA BREEZE BLOWING GENTLY IN FROM THE WATER.
LESLIE'S PAINTING WILL BE ENTERED INTO THE FINAL CHALLENGE AT THE END OF THE CONTEST.
