Creation Calls the Tune

Creation Calls The Tune 1
Tuesday 17 August 2021
7.30pm – 9.00pm

We have had a great response to our upcoming events - and there's still time to join us this evening. Please register for the Zoom meeting link!

Awareness about environmental concerns and the climate crisis is at an all time high in churches, but how much is that reflected in our worship?

In this webinar writer and editor Kathy Galloway - formerly Head of Christian Aid Scotland and leader of the Iona Community - and Wendy Lloyd, Faith Communications Coordinator for Christian Aid, will join our Eco-Chaplain Rev'd David Coleman.

They will share resources which you can use in your congregation and help us explore deeper questions about how our worship and spirituality relate to our care for creation and desire for climate justice.

Please register to join the first of our 'Creation Calls The Tune' events at:

Creation Time 2021 launch
Thursday 19 August 2021
7.30pm – 9.00pm

Eco-Congregation Scotland and the Joint Public Issues Team (JPIT) combine to provide ecumenical Creation Time materials in a variety of media, joining Christians around the world in the Season of Creation, or Creationtide, from 1 September to 4 October.

In this year of the
COP26 climate conference, new weekly resources have been prepared by our Eco-Chaplain and diverse volunteers in partnership with JPIT for the five Sundays of Creation Time 2021.

JPIT brings together the United Reformed ChurchMethodist Church and Baptist Union of Great Britain - linking Baptist churches outwith Scotland - helping the Churches work together for peace and justice. The Church of Scotland is an associate partner. JPIT is sharing resources on its Season of Creation webpage.

Please register now for the launch of this year’s Creation Time materials:
