The Parkland Valley Sport, Culture and Recreation District is looking for self motivated individuals to fulfill the full-time, temporary positions of Summer Program Mentor. This position will provide mentorship support to local play leaders in rural communities in the district.

Unplug & Play Week

March 23-29 is Unplug & Play Week, sponsored by ParticipACTION.

The goal of the program is to get families to pledge towards a full week of unplugging and being physically active during playtime.

If you're a physical activity practitioner, please check out ParticipACTION's Communication Tools to help you promote Unplug & Play Week to your network and encourage participation in this fun and worthwhile initiative.

Creative Entrepreneurship Meeting

To empower cultural artists in Yorkton and surrounding area with information that will help elevate their business to new levels of exposure.

After the three short presentations by our award winning guest speakers the remainder of the event will be 'speed-dating' style forum, in which attendees will have a chance to speak one-on-one with a variety of organizations that can discuss possible funding opportunities as well as mingle with each other.
