Recreations Role in Community Resiliency

This free, one hour webinar is presented by Dr. Jacquelyn Oncescu and is similar to the presentation she shared at the 2014 SPRA Conference. This session focuses on community resiliency and how recreation can generate the capacity to creatively and collaboratively cope with social and economic change. A series of individual case studies have revealed that recreation in the form of activities, community events and recreation organizations may play a significant role in creating the capacity required to remain resilient. If you missed out on her presentation, or you would like more information, you may access it anytime. Click here for more information
