Community Grant Program

The Saskatchewan Lotteries Community Grant Program is a partnership among Sask Sport Inc., SaskCulture Inc., and the Saskatchewan Parks and Recreation Association Inc. The grant program assists in the development of sport, culture and recreation programs by providing funds to non-profit community organizations operated by volunteers.

First Nation band councils and municipal governments are eligible to apply. Grant amounts are determined by population according to the 2011 Census figures from Statistics Canada or the December 2013 figures from the Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development.

2016 Grant Applications are now being accepted until February 28, 2015 for the grant period April 1, 2015 - March 31, 2016.

Volunteer Appreciation

Volunteers are vital to the successful delivery of sport, culture and recreation events and/or organization in communities. Volunteers give up their personal time so it’s very important to thank them for their sacrifices and recognize their efforts. Celebrate:

National Volunteer Week - April 12- 18, 2015
