2020 FIFA World Cup - Croatia Update
The 2022 FIFA World Cup will take place in Qatar between November 21 and December 18, 2022. The timing of the tournament was moved from the summer months due to the extreme heat in Qatar in June and July.
In order for Croatia to compete as one of the 32 nations in the upcoming World Cup (which is only a short 446 days away), we must qualify from Group H (group opponents are: Russia, Slovakia, Cyprus, Slovenia and Malta - listed in order of current standings). After the opening three matches back in March of this year, Croatia is in first place with six points tied with Russia but slightly ahead on goal differential (first three games: loss to Slovenia, wins over Cyprus and Malta).
The next next phase of Croatia's qualifying campaign is expected to be the most difficuelt and resumes tomorrow with three matches over the next seven days. The schedule is below and each of the next three matches kick-off at 2:45PM local time with our doors at the Club opening at 2:00PM.

The Canadian Blood Services continue to run a blood donor clinic from our facility at 166 Green Mountain Road East in Stoney Creek. This is a very easy and vital way to help save lives right here in our community.
