The Warren Moot
Announcing the dates for the inaugural rounds of VWL’s new mooting competition for Victorian women lawyers!
The Warren Moot, endorsed by the Honourable Chief Justice Warren, aims to:

> address the low number of women lawyers in advocacy roles
> encourage women lawyers to participate in public speaking, and
> provide them with insight into a career at the Bar.
The preliminary mooting rounds will be on 1, 15 and 29 September. The Grand Final (to take place at the Supreme Court of Victoria) will be held on 13 October.

We highlight the work of these women lawyers, and share their thoughts with members, through our regular 'sponsor in the spotlight' column. In June/July we feature Michelle Bennett, Senior Associate, Allens.
