Celebrating the 100th Sisters Day Out
Save the date - 5 March 2016 - and show your support.
To celebrate reaching its
100th Sisters Day Out workshop, FVPLS Victoria will host a dinner for up to 200 Aboriginal women and key stakeholders/supporters. There will be a range of innovative speakers and entertainment, raffles and give-aways, pamper packs and all the key elements that have come to represent Sisters Day Out.
About Sisters Day Out
The workshops began in 2007 and are now an established part of FVPLS Victoria’s early intervention/prevention and community legal education program. The one-day workshops provide a culturally welcoming and safe space for Koori women and combine many strategies to reduce vulnerability to family violence - including the provision of information about family violence and related laws, and where women can go for assistance if family violence occurs.

> 30 January 2016 - 2016 Planning Day (executive committee members) for planning of special events, projects and programs to celebrate VWL's 20th year.
