RSU 73 Spruce Mountain Holds Back to School BBQ for Students and Families
September 23rd-27th is
National GEAR UP Week!
National GEAR UP Week is an opportunity for GEAR UP Schools to raise awareness in their community about the positive impact GEAR UP is having locally. It's a time to engage all stakeholders - local, state and federal elected officials; funders; partners; and media - to share their program's accomplishments and to get them more involved with their services to students and families. Let's commemorate your hard work and the progress our students are making towards achieving their life-long dream of going to college!
GEAR UP Maine Campus Visit Bus Tour
This week, 35 Juniors from GEAR UP Maine schools are attending a bus tour experience where they will visit out-of-state college campuses for a behind-the-scenes look at college life including sessions with college admissions, financial aid, housing, student support services plus fun along the way! Check back in October for more photos of the tour!

All students should submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The FAFSA is used by all schools to award federal and state financial aid. Many schools also use the FAFSA to award their institutional financial aid. Most families can complete the FAFSA in less than 30 minutes.
The GEAR UP Maine program is funded through a grant (reference #P3345050037;
Karmon Simms-Coates, Project Officer) from the U.S. Department of Education to
University of Maine at Farmington administered by Syntiro.
