For those of us that live and work in the Greater Easton area, it is not a surprise that Easton was recently named one of the "Best 10 Small Towns on the Chesapeake Bay" by Coastal Living magazine. Easton's intact historic downtown, plethora of restaurants, and attractive neighborhoods continue to drive real estate values and investment setting the stage for infill development and more density.

In this month’s Waypoint we take a closer look at some of what is happening in and around Easton. This includes some possible future Armory building work, progress of the new BAAM Athletic Center, and the grant received for the stream restoration efforts.

Also, check out several events and opportunities available this and upcoming months. Included are this weekend's second Cultural Crossing open market and next month's Talbot County Economic Development Symposium at the Eastern Shore Conservation Center.
