The four-year municipal budget deliberations are in front of us, and this budget is unlike any other.

What's at stake?

Over the next five weeks, Edmonton's Council will debate spending priorities that will no doubt have a huge impact on property taxes and business investments. How is this going to affect you? The tax increase over the next 4 years starts at 15.6% and the total spending between operating and capital is over $20 billion.

Join Edmonton’s member driven business organizations for a conversation on the impact of this budget, how to get involved and why your voice matters this year, more than ever before.

In partnership with Urban Development Institute Edmonton, NAIOP Edmonton and BOMA Edmonton. Panelists from these member organizations will engage in an informal discussion on the impacts and opportunities this budget has for member businesses.

Edmonton’s Trade Accelerator Program (TAP) Fall cohort is now complete after our final day of mentorship. This was the largest cohort to date, with an incredible group of companies and mentors participating over the past 5 weeks.

During the hybrid cohort, TAP companies connected with our industry and trade experts to take advantage of one-on-one mentorship opportunities and valuable presentations. Companies developed their export plans and are ready to look for new opportunities to expand their operations globally with the tools, resources and networks gained from TAP.

A sincere thank you to each of our sponsors, partners and entrepreneurs who dedicated their time to these valuable learning opportunities.

If you know someone who is looking for the tools and knowledge to get export-ready, please have them reach out to tradeacceleratorprogram@edmontonchamber.com about future TAP opportunities.
