We just hosted our biggest Coffee with the Chamber event of the year! Thank you everyone for attending the 'season finale' of this event! - For the first time, transit users in the greater Edmonton area were able to use the Arc e-fare payment system on Monday when boarding buses and the LRT. "It's going to make using the transit system much more easy and convenient and also affordable because there's a cap on how much can be charged per month and per day," Mayor Sohi said
- Currently, Edmonton’s City Council are discussing the four-year capital and operating budgets and their implementation plan. This particular budget discussion has more weight behind it than previous as these decisions made will affect us until 2026, allocating more than $20 billion. One of the propositions of this new budget would be a 15.6% tax increase, placing a huge financial burden on businesses and individuals alike. The decisions our City Council is making should be based upon where we want to see ourselves relative to the rest of the province and country. Read more here.
