Learn tips for Virtual Interviewing!

Virtual interviews and job applications are hard to navigate and we want you to succeed! Join us for a workshop from Judi Garcia, SJSU Career Counselor, about Virtual Interviewing! Judi Garcia is the career counselor for the Arts, Communication, and Entertainment, Science and Math undergraduate students. Connect with her on LinkedIn. Here's the Zoom link! 25% dues discount extended until 10/31!
If you're planning on being a PAID PRSSA member, student dues are discounted 25% until October 31! Dues will still be accepted afterwards but they will be full price. Paid PRSSA members get benefits: Ongoing relevant sessions and webinars, Diverse Dialogues series, PRSA Storytellers Series, PRSA Webinars, and more! You'll get access to PRSA's Internship Center, Job Board, and our Mentor Programs as well. 

Dues are $55 without the discount and $41.25 with the discount.

Programs & Opportunities 
The Multicultural Advertising Intern Program (MAIP) is accepting applications!
Find more info at the IG post here! Read more about the MAIP program application. They have an informational meeting Monday, October 19 and October 26 at 2pm! Register here. The application and all materials are due on October 31st.
 The Fund for American Studies has applications open for International Affairs + Public Policy Fall Internships. This offers particular opportunities for students interested in Public Relations. Learn more at their website!
Communications Week is a global event that brings together professionals from the PR, marketing and media worlds to learn, network and explore the current state of these industries. This year, attend their free virtual events on the week of October 19-23. The event will have networking, panel discussions, and workshops! Topics include "How AI Is Transforming PR: Connecting the Dots Through Data".
Rock, Paper, Scissors, Inc. created The PR Mentoring Network to help young Black and Indigenous people, and any People of Color (BIPOC) who want to get into the PR field connect with a career mentor. Here is the link to the Mentee Expectations and the Mentee Application form.
