Stop celebrating on the summit of the wrong mountain!
Throughout our lives, we spend an enormous amount of time defining what we want to become when we grow up, who we are, and whom we want to become.
Being and becoming is thus a lifetime journey. As Nelson Mandela noted in his book Long Walk to Freedom “…I have discovered the secret that after climbing a great hill, one only finds that there are many more hills to climb.”
Finding one’s own purpose could be the hardest but yet most rewarding journey. There could be nothing more rewarding than finding and living one’s own passion and purpose. Unfortunately not everyone is fortunate enough to find their purpose. However, irrespective of where you are at in life, it is never too late to find your purpose.
If you find yourself on the summit of the wrong mountain, one of the best things you could do for yourself would be to climb down; get yourself off that mountain and find the right mountain to climb.
Climbing down could be quite a daunting challenge; for, it comes with disappointment, fear of failure, as well as fear of risks involved in a new climb. The decision to start afresh from the bottom of another mountain could be overwhelming.
So, what do many people do when they find themselves on summits of wrong mountains? They stay there, stuck on those summits. At times they start smiling and even start celebrating being on the summit, whilst agonizing deep down.
At Potential Exponents we help you in your journey to climb down the wrong mountain; and start off the right climb to conquer the right summit. It is all about helping you find your purpose and becoming the best that you are meant to be.
