New this Year: Open Forum with the Board on Sunday, June 28th
Our members care--they write, email, phone, and tell us when they have concerns, suggestions, even compliments. We love to hear from you so we know what members want and what changes and innovations might make our Club even better. It is a real balancing act to keep everyone happy when we have such a diverse demographic. Some members only want to play singles, some only doubles; some want a lot of organized activities and others "just want to hit". More social events? More competitive events? What do you think?
As an almost totally new Board this year we want to be open and transparent. We know members have questions and ideas and we'd like to hear them in a casual, but dedicated format. And so, we are holding an "Open Forum" on Sunday, June 28th, from 2 to 4 pm, where we can all have the opportunity to have a conversation, ask questions, share perspectives. There is no formal presentation--this is a two-way exchange where several Board members will be available to answer questions, report on our progress, and find out what is concerning you. Based on participation and feedback, we hope this will be a regular event.
Remember we're all members and want to ensure the Club is the best it can be. The Open Forum will take place in the clubhouse during our Sunday Tea & Tennis, so come join us for this new event.
