The Annual Event 2017 and the European Cooperation Day are taking place on 20-21 September in Mariehamn, Åland

The Central Baltic programme is running at full speed; the third call has just closed, more than 60 projects are implementing and two have already finished. We are inviting all projects to the Annual Event in September to share and discuss their experiences.

This year our annual event is back-to-back with the European Cooperation Day. The EC Day is arranged around Europe in September, to celebrate the achievements of territorial cooperation. During the EC Day, we want to display the benefits of solving cross-border challenges to the public under the motto "EC Day -- where people meet our projects".

We hope to create synergies between projects and to provide a window to the general public to discover the positive influence our projects have on everyday life of the people living around the programme area.

More information about the Annual Event and EC Day will be available soon.

The 3rd call is closed

The third call of the Central Baltic programme closed on 27 February 2017. Over 90 applications were submitted during the call. Of the submitted applications around 70% were for regular projects and 30% for small projects. In total, 93 million euros ERDF were applied for.

CB Communication network for projects

The CB Communication network for projects has been quite active lately!

The network is a space where projects share updates about their activities and at the same time can get an insights into what their peers have been up to. When posting, please remember to mention your project name, so others have context for the post.

Join us, if you have not done so already.

We look forward to hear about your project!

369 Media visibility occasion for our projects in 2016!

Last December our project lead partners filled a media visibility template to let us know about the media coverage they received in 2016.

Altogether our projects were covered at least 369 times by newspapers, magazines, TV and radio.

Well done Central Baltic projects!

In many articles the Central Baltic programme, as well as the EU were mentioned as funding sources. All projects are encouraged to find innovative and inspiring solutions, including different media channels, to deliver the message of the benefits of EU funding.

The first two projects have ended: well done Let Us Be Active! and EDU-SME's!

Project Manager Karolina Mackiewicz from Let Us Be Active! was interviewed last autumn after their final seminar took place. Read the article if you have not done so already!

Project Implementation Seminar

Our Project Team is organising two Project Implementation Seminars during the spring.
The first one will take place on 9 May in Turku, and the second on 23 May in Riga.

During the seminar internal communication, reporting in eMS, eligibility of costs, project modifications and project closure are discussed.

The seminar is open for all partners. We will send more information to lead partners soon.
