The first call for small projects and the first step of the call for regular projects closed on 9th February. The Joint Secretariat received a total of 177 applications by the deadline.
The received project proposals cover all themes of the Central Baltic Programme priorities. The majority of applications were submitted for Priority 2 Sustainable use of common resources, followed by Priority 4 Skilled and socially inclusive region.
Throughout the next weeks, the received applications are assessed by the Joint Secretariat. The decisions on which small projects are approved and which regular projects can proceed to second step are taken by the programme Steering Committee consisting of representatives from each participating Member State.
The Steering Committee meeting will take place 14 April, 2015.
If the project proposal is found relevant and in compilance with the programme objectives, the applicant is informed of the approval by an official letter from the Managing Authority and regular projects will be guided to step 2. If the project proposal is rejected, the applicant will receive an administrative decision on rejection.
Second step for the regular projects
The second step application process of the regular projects will take place 15 April-12 June, 2015. The decisions on the second step applications submitted during that time period will be taken by the Steering Committee on 25 August, 2015.
