Get ahead over the summer

Book your summer consultations with the Joint Secretariat

Summer is getting closer and so is the second Central Baltic call for project applications. Now is the right time for project preparations for the upcoming call open from 24 August until 23 October, 2015.

If you are planning to apply for the funding in the autumn and feel that there would be use for a personal consultation with the Joint Secretariat, it is advisable to book your time well in advance before the summer holiday season. Although the Joint Secretariat main office in Turku will be open all summer, our personnel will be on summer breaks during certain time periods in July and August.

A consultation will provide a good possibility to discuss your project idea in the light of the programme specific objectives, expected results and partnership composition. Don't leave it to the last moments but book your time already now.

Here is the Joint Secretariat's contact information. Welcome!

Over 250 people participated in the Central Baltic Annual event

The Central Baltic Programme's annual event held on 19 May gathered 130 people to Riga and the same amount of online viewers to hear about Interreg cooperation.

The interesting day consisted of presentations tying the Central Baltic Programme to its background strategies of Interreg and the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region. After the focus on the strategic backbones four concrete success examples were presented of Interreg cross-border cooperation.

The afternoon part of the day turned the looks into the future and in building well-functioning partnerships for the now ongoing perdiod of Interreg. The introduced tools are certainly ones that everyone can use in any type of work, be it a project or other type of cooperation.

The presentations given at the event are uploaded to the programme website and video recordings can be found on our Youtube channel:
