Despite the Gods is a behind-the-scenes account of the making of a Bollywood movie by an American director. Entitled Hiss, the film was being directed by Jennifer Lynch, daughter of famed director David Lynch. Penny's feature-length documentary watches as Ms. Lynch loses control of the movie, and pretty much comes unglued.

Penny Wozniak is the current Visiting Documentary Filmmaker at Robert Morris University. She usually lives in Australia.
