Join the Kenai Watershed Forum for our 4th Fireside Chat of the season! We are excited to present this family-friendly event at Kenai River Brewing Co.
Kristi Bulock began her career as a hotshot firefighter in Arizona. After moving around and moving up in her field, she settled in Alaska and rounded out her career after the Swan Lake fire in 2019. Though she is not completely done with all things fire fighting, she is now committing more of her time to her other passion, dog mushing.
Kristi got into recreational mushing by accident after adopting a Siberian Husky in 2004. From then on, she was hooked. Now, almost two decades later, she has grown her team.
This Wednesday, Kristi will be telling Tikaani’s Tale. She will walk us through the life of Tikaani, from puppy to lead dog and on into retirement. If weather allows, Kristi will be bringing some gear, a sled, and maybe even a couple dogs. Tis' the season for dog mushing so come on out and see what it takes!
Members of the Kenai Watershed Forum can get their first drink on us!
We will also have tickets for KWF Alaska Airlines Raffle available for purchase.
Come cozy up next to the fire with KRBC food and drink while we enjoy Kristi Bulock's presentation of Tikaani's Tale!
